César Montes says goodbye to Rayados and greets Europe

One more Mexican player who makes the dream come true. César Montes was signed by the Espanyol team from Barcelona and said goodbye yesterday to Club de Futbol Rayados de Monterrey.

Through a statement, the club that Montes is leaving made official the transfer of the 25-year-old player born in Sonora and who received the bronze medal with the national team at the last Tokyo Olympics.

There was also a performance by César Montes in the last Cup where he started in the defense of the Mexican National Team in the World Cup in Qatar, but he did not stand out anymore when they were eliminated without passing the group stage.

Emerged from the basic forces of Rayados, Montes also won the Under 17 category championship. He made his debut match with Rayados on August 2, 2015, where he scored the first goal of the match at the BBVA Stadium, which was inaugurated in a match friendly against the Benfica team from Portugal.
