By making known the progress of the investigations to determine the responsibility in the death of the photojournalists Berenice and Miguel Ángel, the head of the agency reported that four companies are already investigated by the events of April 5.
He explained that one of the investigated companies is NLP entertainment project operatoroperator and concessionaire of the Bicentennial Park; The company Eco Liveorganizer of the Musical Festival, and two more that were subcontracted for the rent of cranes and their installation.
He said that according to the data collected by experts, in no official document there is a record of the installation of the cranes.
“Indeed, the cranes were not part of the Civil Protection Plan. The cranes were mounted the same day (the event),” he said at a press conference.
The prosecutor added that between April 5 and 22, 20 expert reports have been carried out in different specialties and a total of 35 people have appeared before the Ministerial Authority on the events of the AX Ceremony Festival.
“We are already close to defining the imputations that will be made in this case,” he warned.
For its part, the General Coordinator of Territorial Investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office of Mexico City, Elizabeth Hernández, clarified that among the 35 people who came to appear for the Ceremony case are four public officials of the Mayor’s Office Miguel Hidalgo and two more of the Secretariat of Integral Risk Management and Civil Protection of the capital.
