Cepede is getting ready for the last Roland Garros of his career

Juventus’ Italian defender, Giorgio Chiellini, will play his last game this Monday in the black and white shirt in front of the Turin team’s fans, who will pay tribute to him at the end of the match against Lazio, and he said goodbye with a heartfelt message: “The ‘Juve’ has been everything for me.”

“The day has come. Tonight I will go through a whirlwind of emotions. The ‘Juve’ has been everything for me. My youth, experience, maturity. The desire to win, the joy of triumph, the acceptance of defeat, the emotion of the challenge, the duel on the pitch, my head always bandaged…”, wrote the captain of the ‘Vecchia Signora’ on social networks.

Chiellini says goodbye after 16 seasons defending the Juventus motto: ‘Fino a la fine’ (Until the end).

In these 16 seasons in Turin, the charismatic defender has been one of the most prolific players in the club’s history, having lifted the ‘Scudetto’ nine times (2012-2020) -consecutively-, five Italian Cups and another five Italian Super Cups.

The future of the player points to the MLS, the American league, but at the moment there is nothing official.

Chiellini himself, in fact, reveals that he still does not know what his future will be: “This is how I find myself facing the most beautiful of sunsets trying to imagine a new dawn, because the journey does not end. I still don’t know what awaits me next, but it will be another moment and another story.”

“Three. My number. But also the sensations that now coexist in my soul”, continued the ‘azzurro’ international.

Chiellini, who already announced a few weeks ago his withdrawal from the Italian team after the next match against Argentina in the so-called Champions Cup, also known as ‘Finalissima’, will say goodbye to the Juventus team together with the Argentine Paulo Dybala, who will also leave part of the project of the Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri as soon as this campaign ends.
