The Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, stressed that the clarification of the murder of political leader Carlos Lanz was the product of “a very detailed work of several months.”
Ceballos revealed that from the newly created Strategic Operations Group (GOE) “we managed to provide interesting information.” At that point, the Minister thanked the work done by Humberto Ramírez, Vice Minister of the Criminal Investigation System.
Ceballos stressed that “we have provided great help to the Public Ministry, thanks to the dynamic actions of the criminal investigation management that we have been carrying out.”
Such considerations were exposed by Ceballos in an event that is part of the celebratory acts on the occasion of Police Day, held at the headquarters of the National Experimental Security University (Unes) on Tuesday afternoon.
