CDE expands complaint against foreign doctors accused of issuing ideologically false licenses

The State Defense Council announced the expansion of the complaint against the 22 defendants accused of belonging to an illegal association that sold ideologically false medical licenses to the person who requires the service.

The investigation of the Eastern Prosecutor’s Office revealed that there are 24 Colombian doctors involved in the act and that they would have defrauded with the figure of 27 billion pesos.

To point out that the initial complaint was for the repeated crime of granting false medical licenses. Now, the illicit fraudulent obtaining of improper benefits is added, as stated Radio Bio Bio.

The 24 Colombian doctors involved were accused of taking advantage of not needing to validate their professional title, due to international treaties.
