CCIAP: Behind every business established in Panama is an individual dream that, in turn, helps drive the desire

The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), during these December holidays, encourages that “the purchases that we are going to make are made within the responsible framework, taking into account the commitments acquired, and giving preference to all those hard-working and attractive local businesses ”.

This was made known by the union during its Sunday opinion, in which it highlights that, “behind each business established in Panama, there is an individual dream that, in turn, helps to promote the desire of all. The local purchase decision has an impact on the national economy; supports producers, artisans, entrepreneurs and merchants; and this has a direct impact on the reactivation of jobs, which must be the national obsession of the moment ”.

He added that the recovery has begun, “but there is still a long way to go to return to pre-pandemic levels. In the case of the growth of wholesale and retail trade, for example, the growth so far this year has been 8.8%, but the fall in 2020 was 19.4% ”.
