AREQUIPA, Peru – The official press of the Cuban regime criticizes this Saturday the son of President Dina Boluarte, in Peru, after being appointed as a diplomat to the UN “without having experience.”
The state media Cubadebate alludes to a case of nepotism towards David Eduardo Gómez Boluarte, included in the ministerial resolution of November 27 and recorded by the Peruvian Foreign Ministry.
At the same time that Castro’s propaganda condemns the privileges of the Peruvian president’s eldest son, it ignores the scandal of Manuel Anido Cuesta, stepson and advisor of the dictator Miguel Díaz-Canel, captured in Spain in an affair with the actress Ana de Armas.
Gómez Boluarte studied at the Javier Pérez de Cuellar Diplomatic Academy of Peru, where he graduated in 2022. After completing his studies, the Cuban regime points out, he began his registration in the diplomatic service before the UN, in the category of third secretary.
Similarly, Anido Cuesta was licensed as a lawyer in Cuba and without having a significant career within the union, he was appointed as advisor to his stepfather. Along with the ruler of the Island, the young man travels to several countries on official visits where he has been seen wearing luxury suits and bags that the salary of a common state official could not afford.
The double standard of the dictatorship in its official press has recently been marked by media silence in the face of these events and other ostentations by the leadership led by Sandro Castro, grandson of the late dictator Fidel Castro, or the son of Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz.
The above has not gone unnoticed by users of Cubadebatewho, even with the censorship and strict curation to which the website subjects comments, managed to express their discontent.
“In Peru… Seriously?!!,” asked the user named Mahidevran.
“And maybe he even represents Peru before the Pope to make matters worse,” wrote an Internet user identified as Tony22 in reference to Manuel Anido Cuesta’s visit to the Vatican.
“The media is investigating the incident…don’t worry that it will be resolved. Well, until Cubadebate He has heard about the commotion. The bad thing is when other children do their thing and the press remains silent,” commented JLD, another user.
“And what does this news mean for Cuba? I think there are more important problems to be addressed by the Cuban press. And, be careful, our roof is also made of glass,” said Internet user CTVP.
The pompous life of Manuel Anido and Sandro Castro
The magazine HELLO! public This Wednesday new images of the actress Ana de Armas and her current partner, Manuel Anido Cuesta. The photographs show the couple in Madridapparently after making purchases in a shopping center in the city.
In the recent images, Ana de Armas shows off a casual style with clothes from Louis Vuitton, a brand of which she is an ambassador. She also wears a gray poncho with a hood, jeans, a bag from the French brand and ankle boots.
Both the actress and Anido Cuesta protected their eyes with sunglasses. The Cuban dictator’s advisor carries several bags, including one from the famous El Corte Inglés store.
This is the second time that the actress and Anido Cuesta have been photographed together in the Spanish capital.
Last week, the couple was photographed kissing and leaving the luxurious Numa Pomilio restaurant. On that occasion they were accompanied by Cuban lawyers Rodolfo and Lourdes Dávalos, known for representing the Cuban regime in the “London Trial.”
While the majority of Cubans struggle to survive in a country where scarcity and misery are the daily bread, the display of luxuries by Anido Cuesta and other members of the Cuban elite only aggravates the indignation and discontent. feeling of injustice among the population.
Last September, Sandro Castroand was seen in a restaurant specialized in seafood productsprobably only within the reach of a minority of Cubans who can pay around 4,200 pesos for a ceviche starter at the Jaimanitas establishment.
Tobacco in his mouth, and apparently, at night, Castro went to taste the dishes of the place known for Santy Pescadoralso known for preparing products that do not exist in other parts of the country: conch, octopus, lobster, prawn, clam, shrimp.
The average cost of dishes is 4,200 for starters. For a whole lobster you pay 9,000 pesos and for a mixed seafood plate, 10,500. Desserts, for their part, range from 850 for jam with white cheese to 1,050 for cakes.
Squid costs 6,200; fish and octopus, 5,250 and prawns, 7,000.
The grandson of the dictator Castro unleashed the indignation of Cubans a few months ago with another publication on social networks where he appeared in the luxurious estate “El Patrón”, drinking beer and enjoying a comfortable sofa with clothes from recognized brands and his iPhone.
This ostentation provoked a wave of comments from outraged citizens who cannot understand how it is possible that someone can live so oblivious and indolent with the reality that surrounds them.
