The president of the Republic, peter castlethanked the support provided by his Bolivian counterpart, louis arceagainst the new motion of presidential vacancy that presented the opposition against him, an appeal whose admission will be discussed this Monday, March 14. The Peruvian president stressed that his management respects the democratic foundations that every mandate must protect.
“Thank you very much, brother Luis Arce, for the support of the Bolivian government and people in the face of the political situation in my country. Our management respects the foundations of democracy and we must fulfill the mandate of the population: promote social changes for the good of Peru,” President Castillo wrote on his official Twitter account.
This message from head of state comes in response to the statement from louis arce the last Saturday 12. “We send a hug to Pdte. From Peru peter castle, elected by popular vote in a process that witnessed #LatinAmerica. We send you a lot of strength to continue working for his people. Legitimately elected governments strengthen democracy in the region”, was the message – via Twitter – from the Bolivian authority.

It also did so, through the pro tempore presidency of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), the Argentine president Alberto Fernandez, who asked that the democratic order and the popular will be respected in favor of the Peruvian head of state. This was also appreciated by Castle.

Admission of the vacancy motion is discussed this Monday 14
Last Thursday, the Board of Directors of Congress agreed deal with the admission of the vacancy motion against the President of the Republic, peter castle, at the next plenary session, which has been scheduled for Monday, March 14. This was announced by the Vice President of Parliament, Lady Camones.
The multi-party initiative was presented by the congressman of Popular Renewal Jorge Montoya on Tuesday, March 8. The signatures of 49 parliamentarians from the Renovación Popular (RP), Fuerza Popular (FP), Avanza País, Alianza para el Progreso (APP), Somos Perú (SP) and Podemos Perú (PP) groups were recorded in the document; the last three to a lesser extent. For this to be admitted by Congress, it will require 52 votes.
