The lawyer and former president of Transparency International Chapter of Panama, Carlos Barsallo, referred this Monday to the issue of justice in Panama and high-profile cases.

He stated that the cartels that are operating in the national territory are doing nothing more than what is done in the business models, which is “infiltrate their people in the justice system”, and for this, there are preventive measures.

He affirmed that the population is concerned about what we do not know, “which is to a certain extent positive, because it shows that it was possible to intelligently dismantle a network, however, the concern is everything we do not know, what may be in parallel ”.
