The platform for means of payment and services for commerce of the Prisma company, Payway, announced that from now on, businesses will not issue purchase receipts for payments with card debit or credit.
The measure will apply to purchases with card Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards under $15,000. The change also implies that the ticket issued for transactions through this will no longer be signed. financial method.
However, if the customer requests it, the business can send the ticket by mail, with which you can have the details of your payment with card debit or credit. The objective of this decision is to “optimize the time and resources” of both merchants and consumers.
According to the company, “by digitizing the payment receipts, we seek to improve both the collection experience of ATMs and merchants as well as that of their customers. This simplifies the entire payment process and the merchant can control their sales from the terminal or from My Payway”.
They also explained that, from now on, “when charging, the business will show the amount entered in the terminal to the customer, which will card to make the payment with contactless (NFC) or insert the chip. After making the payment, you can select the option ‘send by email’, to receive the proof of payment by email”.
Meanwhile, businesses will be able to register receipts through “the intelligent terminal (POS) and the My Payway portal, through which they can track their sales and collection dates, manage new services for their business, create and share payment links and generate interoperable QR, among other features”.
In this way, businesses will save resources and time, without neglecting the security of transactions, since both establishments and customers will be able to track the details of the purchase virtually.
