Carabineros enters the Swiss Confederation High School for launching incendiary devices: there are 12 detainees

Carabineros personnel entered the Swiss Confederation High School and arrested a total of 12 people. This after the incidents reported both outside and inside the educational center located in the commune of Santiago.

The incidents began around 9:30 a.m., when a group of unknown persons threw a series of Molotov cocktails from the roof of the high school to the outside.

This caused officials from the Carabineros Public Order Control to enter the establishment and arrest 12 people, 7 men and 5 women, of whom 10 are adolescents and 2 adults. Of the latter, one does not study on campus. In addition, they seized Molotov cocktails, white overalls and masks from the high school bathrooms, which will be used as evidence in the formalization of the subjects.

The commissioner of the 4th Police Station, Major Marco Bahamonde, reported that the entry of the uniformed into the high school occurred as a result of a request from the manager of the Municipality of Santiago, headed by the mayoress Irací Hassler.
