Yesterday (9), the experts confirmed the death of Júlio Borges Antunes (68); from Mykon Douglas de Osti (24); of Camila Silva Machado (18), and also the death of Sebastião Teixeira da Silva (64) and his wife, Marlene Augusta Teixeira da Silva (57).

The ten victims were identified by fingerprint recognition. Three of them were recognized with the help of Federal Police (PF) experts.

At least 24 other people on board the boats needed help, and many of them were taken to health facilities with fractures and abrasions.

The Civil Police launched a police investigation to investigate the responsibilities. In addition, the Navy, responsible for inspecting navigation in waterways, will also investigate the circumstances of the tragedy.

Since the images of the huge block of stone hitting boats with tourists began to be published, photos and even old messages in which people point out the crack in the stone wall and the imminent risk of falling were recovered to question the lack of guidance on the site risks.
