Caixa releases FGTS withdrawal for those affected by the rains in Uruçuca

Caixa releases FGTS for two mining towns hit by floods

Caixa informed that workers who live in Uruçuca (BA) can withdraw, as of tomorrow (17), part of the Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS). The release was made due to the calamity situation caused by heavy rains in the city. Caixa releases FGTS withdrawal for those affected by the rains in Uruçuca

According to the bank, residents of affected areas can apply for the benefit, through the FGTS Application, until March 28.

The affected worker must have a positive balance in the FGTS account and not have withdrawn amounts for the same reason of calamity in a period of less than 12 months. The maximum withdrawal amount is BRL 6,220.

In the application, the interested party must enter the option My Saques. It will then be possible to indicate a Caixa or digital savings account to receive the amounts. It is not necessary to attend an agency in person.

According to the bank, workers from 73 municipalities in Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo and São Paulo were enabled to withdraw FGTS due to the state of calamity caused by the rains.
