The judgment of lawsuits involving Traffic Insurance – Personal Injury Caused by Land Motor Vehicles (Dpvat) should be more agile. Caixa and the National Justice (CNJ) and Federal Justice (CJF) councils signed, yesterday (15), a technical cooperation agreement.
Under the agreement, Caixa provides the CNJ and CJF, through computerized systems, with information on Dpvat. “The solution enables direct access to Dpvat information by Federal Justice magistrates, within the scope of the technical analysis carried out administratively by Caixa”, says the note from the bank, responsible for administering the insurance.
Dpvat is a mandatory insurance, created to support victims of traffic accidents in the country, no matter who is to blame for the accident.
Insurance compensation can be requested through the Dpvat Caixa app, available in smartphone app stores Play Store (android) and App Store (iOS), or at bank branches.
Caixa was hired in 2021 by the Superintendence of Private Insurance (Susep) to manage and operate this type of insurance.
