MONTE PLATA.- This Saturday morning the coercive measure hearing began, under strict security measures, against Wilkin García Peguero (Mantequilla) accused of fraud and death threat.
At the hearing, the Public Ministry, represented by the prosecutor Ramona Santana Uceta and the deputies Yolitza Martínez, Félix Heredia and Ángela Contreras, will request a year in prison.
“I am an innocent person who wants to pay a people who need it, if they condemn me the system is guilty of not collecting their money from those people who need it,” said Mantequilla upon arriving this morning at the Palace of Justice in Monte Plata for the knowledge of the measure.
He added that he hopes to be released to be able to respond to the dozens of people who demand their money, which he has never refused, he specified.
The defendant arrived escorted by members of the National Police, who immediately took him inside the prosecutor’s office.

García Peguero (Mantequilla) is accused of defrauding hundreds of people through an unregulated company called 3.14 Inversiones World Wide, which operated in a commercial premises and in a residence in the Sabana Grande de Boyá municipality, and about which the financial authorities warned to the population that it was a pyramidal business.
The defendant was arrested last Thursday by the National Police in the National District where he went to make a video to prove that no one was looking for him, then he was transferred to Monte Plata and handed over to the prosecutor Ramona Santana Uceta.
