The CEO of Ledesma, Javier Goñi, in turn, asked the Executive power again rules of the game and, in addition, “macroeconomic balance to bring to the industry all its potential”. He also mentioned as important the claim to the Government for the legal certainty that would allow their companies to develop and grow.
In turn, the CEO of Arcor, Luis Pagani, pronounced several axes and included Mercosur as one of the future players in globalization. He singled out the neighboring country, Brazil, and his Government: “In the policy that Brazil has to invest, the mayors and governors act, there are fights for investments to be established. It is a force that perhaps it would be good for the authorities in Argentina to have, ”he assured.
He also said: “30 years ago we were much closer than today to the importance that Brazil has, Argentina relegated those possibilities these years and many of those investments preferred to locate in Brazil”, referring to governments previous.
“There was a lot of talk about training and education, but a lot of infrastructure is needed. Argentina lacks basic infrastructure such as the railway, having bigger highways, bigger ports, it is necessary to have a comprehensive plan to be able to be attractive”, said Pagani.
