At least four people died in a road accident at the junction of BR-349 and BR-020, in Correntina, Bahia. The accident involved a bus from Viação Catedral, which was going from Correntina to Brasília. According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the vehicle overturned around 11:50 pm yesterday (29), leaving, in addition to the dead, several injured.
A team from the Barreiras operational unit was called and went to the scene. The PRF said that the vehicle overturned left several injured with “serious injuries”, and that at least four deaths have already been confirmed.
Also according to the PRF, the reinforcement of a team from the city of Alvorada do Norte was requested to, in the face of the situation, assist the Barreiras team that is already at the scene of the accident.
