The body of delegates of bus line 60, which runs through the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires, announced a plan of struggle with a “stoppage of the entire line” from Monday, July 4 at midnight, to demonstrate against dismissals of “discriminatory character”.
“During the last months of the current year, the DOTA Group, which operates line 60, caused numerous dismissals of a discriminatory nature, including that of candidates and elected delegates,” the body of delegates said in a statement.
The union representatives considered “this attack by the bosses as part of the adjustment that the big companies are trying to apply to their workers, advancing their rights and working conditions, seeking flexibility to improve their profits, all this within the framework of the dispute over subsidies with the government”.
In that sense, they refused “to be the adjustment variable” and the workers voted “to begin a plan of struggle with the entire line shutdown starting on 7/4/22 from zero hour in all its branches and routes”, for indefinite time.
This measure of force will also have “possible mobilizations and cuts”.
