Bruno Valdez, a 30-year-old national team defender, came to Boca Juniors to sign a three-season contract (until 2025). The defender was released from América de México after seven seasons playing for the Aztec team.
Initially, Valdez had an offer from Cruzeiro of Brazil, however, Juan Román Riquelme’s call made the defense decline in favor of the Argentine team, where offensive midfielder Óscar Romero also plays.
Before América, Valdez played in our country for Sol de América between 2011 and 2014 and in Cerro Porteño between 2014 and 2016.
