Bruera directs Nacional’s comeback in Para Uno

Hoy Paraguay

The Manuel Ferreira stadium welcomed today the fringed and tricolor players for the ninth date of the Apertura 2022 tournament.

Julio César Cáceres’s team displayed abundant young blood in their ranks (at least 5 homegrown players on the field) and thus stood up to the seasoned Nacional del ‘Cabo’ Pedro Sarabia.

Entertaining match, with situations that could have had a better destiny and the pace that was due to the importance of the points at stake. Back and forth.

The goal came through Walter González who put Olimpia ahead on the scoreboard (41′) by taking advantage of a bad start by Santiago Rojas, the white goalkeeper. However, the visit matched the procedure at 71′ with a bombardment by Argentine striker Facundo Bruera.

It was precisely Bruera himself who, on time served, raised the area and applied an accurate header that defined the three points for Nacional.

With this result, the tricolor cast adds its second victory and moves to sixth place, with unbeatable sensations.

For its part, Olimpia is stationed in fourth place (14 units), eight behind Libertad, who plays on Sunday with Sol de América. A victory for Guma practically leaves the players with no chance of reaching the title.

The entrance Bruera directs Nacional’s comeback in Para Uno was first published in diary TODAY.
