He Subsidy Protects, a $200,000 bonus delivered by the National Training and Employment Service (Sence), has opened its applications until next Tuesday, June 20. This bonus seeks to provide financial relief in challenging times, encouraging continuity of work and the reconciliation of family and work life.
Who can apply for the Protege Subsidy?
The women that can apply for the Protege Subsidy are the following:
- Working mothers, dependent or independent, who are in charge of caring for a child under two years of age.
- Working parents, dependent or independent, who have exclusive personal care or who have been given personal care of a child under two years of age.
- Dependent and independent mothers and/or fathers who are caring for a child over 2 years of age, but under 5 years of age.
In addition to complying with these conditions, the applicants must have effectively returned to work, either in person or teleworking, remotely or mixed. It is also necessary for each women meet a minimum of contributions, which varies depending on whether they are dependent or independent workers.
They cannot apply for Subsidy Protects those women who are on prenatal, postnatal and parental postnatal leaves, are using the medical leave and permit for serious illness of the child under one year of age, or are using the medical permit and license under the SANNA Law. Neither can mothers who work in companies obliged to provide a nursery benefit for having 20 or more women hired, nor public sector officials. Foreign mothers without a definitive RUN and foreign children not registered with the Civil Registry and Identification Service cannot access the subsidy either.
To apply for Subsidy Protects, you must enter the corresponding website and access with the Unique Password. Then, the required information is filled in, the statement and terms are accepted, and the application is submitted. A response will be received by email, where it will be reported if the request has been accepted or rejected.
