Boxer Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez will fight for the WBA world championship (World Boxing Association), light heavyweight category, at 175 pounds, on May 7, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, United States, against the Russian Dmitry Bivol.

For this purpose, the Mexican is concentrated with his entire team in San Diego, California, including the Bolivian Munir Somoya, who is his physical trainer.

The Bolivian explained to the journalists that, to gain weight, many times ‘Canelo’ stops eating and drinking water for several days.

“It is the process of dehydration. Sometimes he stops drinking water and eating for four or five dayssand he has had up to six days, (water) just to rinse his mouth, that is to lose weight, “said Munir Somoya.
