Bolivia reports 3,017 Covid-19 cases, the lowest figure so far this year

3,017 positive cases of coronavirus were registered this Saturday nationwide, this is the lowest figure so far this year. On January 1, the country began the management with 3,550 cases and from there began a dramatic escalation.

Although La Paz is the department with the most infections, they are lower than those of other days. In the case of deceased On December 31, 2021, Bolivia reached 19,546 deaths and at the end of January that number grew to 20,891, which means that in that month 1,345 people died. The falling figures encouraged the municipalities to advance the Carnival celebrations, although the Government recommended that the festivities be canceled.

Regarding those recovered, This Saturday 6,014 people who managed to beat the coronavirus were registeredOf that number, Cochabamba was the department with the most, 2,404 in total, Santa Cruz 2,250, Beni 467, La Paz 307, Chuquisaca 244, Oruro 236, Potosí 84, Tarija 22 and Pando, which did not record any recovered cases.
