Bolivia registers 90 cases and one death from coronavirus

Bolivia registered this Sunday 90 new cases of coronavirus and one deceased, according to information from the Epidemiological Report 735 of the Ministry of Health. Likewise, the document reports that 1,395 patients recovered from Covid-19 and were discharged.

This Sunday, 2,281 tests were carried out, 90 gave a positive result and 2,191 were discarded.

The new infections of this day were distributed as follows: Santa Cruz 44, Cochabamba 8, Oruro 2, La Paz 31 and Chuquisaca 5. While in Tarija, Potosí, Beni and Pando they did not register infected.

Similarly, the report establishes that during this day a person died and the fatality rate so far reaches 0.7%.

The registry of recovered patients by department is as follows: 242 in Santa Cruz, 55 in Cochabamba, 887 in La Paz, 10 in Chuquisaca, 0 in Tarija, 200 in Potosí, 1 in Oruro, 0 in Beni and 0 in Pando.

Vaccination report

The Ministry of Health and Sports in its daily report informs that until this Sunday 12,972,825 doses were applied between the first, second, third and only dose to the different age groups.

Of which 6,048,488 health professionals, teachers, the elderly, people over 18 years of age and pregnant women, received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Likewise, 4,753,350 of the second was applied; 994,961 of the single dose; and 1,176,026 people over 18 years of age and with underlying diseases received the third dose.

The report outlines that 707,280 first doses and 439,885 second doses were applied to children aged 5 to 11 years, while 755,294 adolescents aged 12 to 17 years had the first vaccine and 554,294 the second.
