Bielsa says ‘yes I do’ and will be Uruguay’s coach!

The Argentine coach will take charge of the sky-blue team, which will be his third selection

It can be said that it is already done. Marcelo Bielsa will be the new selector of Uruguay after accepting the proposal he had on the table to train the sky blue team.

Bielsa will take charge of the Uruguayan team to replace Diego Alonsowho a priori should be the coach until after the 2026 World Cup to be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

It will be the third team that Bielsa has trained, who at 67 has been without a team since he was sacked from Leeds United in 2022. Previously, the ‘crazy’ had led Argentina already Chili.
