The Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Betssy Chavezruled out that there has been talk about any change within the cabinet headed by Aníbal Torres, but pointed out that any modification is the decision of the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo.
The member of the Council of Ministers also stressed that in case the head of state makes the decision to change one or more portfolios, they will continue to support the Government from wherever they are.
“We have not talked about any ministerial change, but what we ministers do know is that we have positions of trust and that we are here to be able to support the Government. With all the disposition, the president can make the decision that he considers appropriate and we will continue to support from the space where we are”, declared Betssy Chavez to the press from outside the government palace.

The head of the Ministry of Labor also ruled on the interpellation motion that the bench presented against her People’s Force for the strike of air traffic controllers that caused thousands of people to miss their flights during the last Holy Week.
“This week we are going to see the issue of interpellations, we have Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, (days) that Congress is going to meet. We are ready to be able to respond, we believe that there are doubts that some parliamentarians have, we are fully willing to go and respond”, he stated.
Interpellations to ministers
The Plenary of Congress has on the agenda to debate and vote on four interpellation motions against different members of the ministerial cabinet during the sessions on Tuesday, May 3, Wednesday, May 4, and Thursday, May 5.
The interpellations scheduled for this week are against Alfonso Chavarry (Inside), Carlos Palacios (Energy and Mines), Betssy Chavez (Work and Hannibal Torres (Presidency of the Council of Ministers). Last Friday, Parliament gave an account of these motions.
