Betssy Chávez assumes as Minister of Culture to replace Alejandro Salas

Betssy Chávez was presented as the new Minister of Culture during the swearing-in of the ministerial cabinet this Friday, August 5. The congresswoman and former Minister of Labor returns to assume a portfolio in the Government of President Pedro Castillo, this time in the Culture sector. Chávez was removed from her position as head of the Labor Ministry after being censured by Congress.
