Beheaded in San Pedro prison: trial begins for 24 defendants

As part of the case entitled Freddy González del Valle and others S / Intentional Homicide and Others, the oral and public trial begins this Wednesday for the 24 defendants for the savage murder of 10 inmates.

Of the 24 investigated, 14 will participate in person and 10 will be online, five of them from the Encarnación Rehabilitation Center and five from the Concepción prison, according to the Ministry of Justice.

The defendants are: Fredy González Delvalle, Oscar Diosnel Villalba Bobadilla, Vagner Alexandre Knorst, Leonardo Alfonzo López Carballo, Lorenzo Benítez Sosa. Junior Rolando Báez Garcete, Cristóbal Gamarra Martínez, Eligio García, Odair Mateus Cardozo, Celso Luis Alvarenga, Blas Antonio Villalba Sosa, Edilson Silva Da Cruz, David Andi Izquierdo Ibacache, Jorge David Centurión, Víctor Manuel Roa, Armando Cáceres Cañete, Ronaldo César Dos Santos, Roger Darío Delgado Molina, Hugo Vera Benítez, Christian Mareco, Andrés Rafael Escurra Mancuello, Hugo Ramón Pizzurno, Nicolás Salvador Muños Ramírez, Arturo Emanuel Ávalos López.

The most dangerous defendants who come to the Specialized Group for the trial are transferred to police custody.
