The Minister of Economy, Silvina Batakisheld a meeting this Wednesday afternoon at the Palacio de Hacienda together with officials, Buenos Aires mayors and legislatorswho expressed their support for the economic guidelines of the national government.
The communal chiefs who participated in the meeting were Andrew Watson (Florence Varela), Fernando Espinoza (The slaughter), Alberto Barefoot (Ituzaingó), Federico Achaval (Pillar), Gaston Granados (eziza), Fernando Moreira (San Martin), Nicholas Mantegazza (Saint Vincent) and Marisa Fassi (Cañuelas).
The intendants conveyed to Batakis their concern about price increases of the products of the basic basket and the need to guarantee the supply in the gondolas.
The minister, for her part, stressed the importance of dialogue with the mayors of the Conurbano Buenos Aires “to find solutions to eventual problems in the municipalities”.
Also present at the meeting were the Secretary of the Treasury, Martin Di Bella; the Secretary of Internal Commerce, Martin Pollera; the chief of staff of the province of Buenos Aires, Martin Insaurralde; the Minister of Infrastructure and Public Services of Buenos Aires, Leonardo Nardini; the provincial deputy Mariano Cascallares and the national deputy Marcelo Casareto.
