Baruja imposes his leadership in Paraguarí: “I reaped the fruit of my labor”

Within the framework of what were the internal party elections, the governor of Paraguarí, Juan Carlos Baruja, obtained 78,866 in the framework of the dispute facing the Senate. Officially, in this way, he will go as ANR candidate in the April 2023 elections.

“I have basically not had what traditional politics grants and even so in my department we have won in all the candidacies,” Baruja highlighted in relation to the result in the internal ones.

He added that its “only merit” is its management, both as governor and minister of the Executive Power.

“I reaped the fruit of my labor. Having a good management gives you an electoral revenue”, stressed Baruja in conversation with 650 AM.

As regards the internal Baruja took a wide advantage over the Fuerza Republicana candidate, Miguel Cuevas, who obtained 16,359 votes.

Baruja’s leadership was also reflected in the result for the Presidency of the Republic, where Santiago Peña made a huge difference to Arnoldo Wiens in the entire department of Paraguarí.
