The Banking Association (AB) led by Sergio Palazzo and the four business chambers of the activity agreed this Thursday in parity an additional salary increase of 8% over the salaries in force as of December 2020, which totaled an improvement in the assets of 51%, reported the union.

A statement from the trade union organization indicated that in this way the revision clause agreed in a timely manner in the joint agreement was fulfilled, so that workers will receive an additional 8% on 2020 wages.

The salary agreement was signed by the union and the employers’ chambers Abappra, Adeba, ABA and ABE, and determined that the improvement must be paid until next January 5, which totaled a 51% recomposition in the year.

The percentage of improvement will be applied to all the additional ones, so that the initial salary in force as of December 1 last will amount to $ 118,868.38 pesos, plus another $ 3,436.11 pesos for participation in the profits of the financial system, which will total an income of 122,304.49 pesos, it was reported.

“In the context of a difficult economic and health situation as a result of the coronavirus pandemic that continues to affect society, the union once again guaranteed the defense of the purchasing power of workers”said the document signed by Palazzo and the press secretary, Claudio Bustelo.

The Banking had decided yesterday the state of alert and mobilization of the union before “the intransigence parity bosses”. after the unsuccessful hearing at the Ministry of Labor, which went to an intermission period until this Thursday, when the increase was agreed.
