As part of its commitment to the financial education of the population, Banco Popular Dominicano will offer educational workshops for children and adolescents during the Central Bank’s Economic and Financial Week.
These workshops are part of the content offered by the Finance with a Purpose Academy (www.finanzasconproposito.edu.do) of the financial institution. The workshops, which will be offered virtually, are freely accessible through the website www.eneef.do and will be taught by certified facilitators.
These financial education contents of Banco Popular are adapted so that children and adolescents can reinforce their knowledge about personal finances, valuing the importance of savings and planned financial management from an early age, with the aim of creating in them a healthy habit that will serve them well. for the rest of their lives.
Specifically, the first virtual workshop will take place on Monday, March 21 at 9:15 in the morning and is aimed at children between 9 and 12 years old, under the theme “The importance of saving”. It will be in charge of Laura Núñez, from the Didactics company.
The second of the workshops will take place on Wednesday, March 23, at 2:30 in the afternoon, and will address the concept of “Finance with Purpose”, for adolescents between 13 and 17 years old. The facilitator Pamela Pichardo, from the company Edufinanzas, will impart the content.
