He People’s Bank and the Town hall of the National District inaugurated this Friday the rebuilt park Aesa, as part of a public-private collaboration for the development sustainable and healthy recreation of citizens.
The investment in the park, located in the Aesa urbanization on the 30 de Mayo highway, exceeds 23 million pesos. The mayor’s office reported that this is the 184th space provided by the management of the mayor Carolina Mejia.
The opening ceremony was led by the mayor; the executive president of People’s Bank, Christopher Paniagua; the executive vice president of Corporate Communications, Reputation and Responsible Banking of Popular, José Mármol; former president Hipólito Mejía, and Mariel Bera, vice president of the Corporate Relations and Responsible Banking Area.
“In each park that we have intervened, of these eleven beautiful spaces that have been comprehensively transformed, we have managed to give back to the community more than we originally thought,” said the municipal executive.
For his part, Paniagua explained the commitment of the entity with the development and the well-being of communitieshighlighting that the entity Banco is happy to be able to contribute to each of these local projects that touch and transform lives.
“I want to congratulate again my dear Carolina for his marked sense of servicehis high human quality, that’s right, and his enormous capacity for work. And thank you for allowing us to be part of this initiative that touches and transforms lives,” said Paniagua.
Space renovation
With the transformation of space, the community of the urbanization Aesa and surrounding areas will be able to use 3,368 square meters of a park which now has an ocean view.
Furthermore, it has murals which include figures such as runner Marileidy Paulino and former NBA basketball player Francisco García. In that sense, a structure elevated that previously functioned as a water storage tank, was transformed into an attractive and colorful mural.
He park Aesa has a restored basketball court totally basketball equippedoutdoor gym, picnic tables and dog area.
The brigadiers they placed a gate new and exterior sidewalks and surrounding containers were also rebuilt. Likewise, modern LED lighting was installed in all areas.
In search of maintaining the hygiene of the place and, in turn, raise awareness among communitywere placed clean points with trash cans for recycling waste.
