Banco Mercantil opens this Sunday to serve former Fassil clients

Banco Mercantil Santa Cruz became the first financial entity to serve ex-clients of the intervened Banco Fassil, when it opened its branches throughout the country this Sunday to process the migration of savers.

The offices of the Mercantile They are operating from 11:00 a.m. and will do so continuously until 5:00 p.m. on this Sunday day. In Santa Cruz they are serving all the agencies in the urban area, plus those in Montero and Warnes.

While in La Paz the Ritz branches opened, Calacoto and La Ceja in El Alto. In Cochabamba they attend the agencies América, Calama and Ramón Rivero. In Tarija, Sucre, Oruro and Potosí, only the central agencies are operating.

“We are the first financial entity to receive Banco Fassil’s former clients, because we have prepared ourselves in advance and we have advanced a day attention, since the ASFI (Financial System Supervision Authority) announced that this May 22 savers would only be able to access their accounts,” Carolina Suárez, Banco Mercantil’s Communications Assistant Manager, told EL DEBER.

Suárez explained that from tomorrow Exahorritas will be attended exclusively of Fassil in the branches of Calle Junín, Montero, Warnes and La Guardia. “Starting this Monday, the new customers who migrated to our entity will only be served at these agencies, but Fassil savers who already had an account at our bank can visit any of our branches,” he explained.

The deputy manager of Banco Mercantil Communication pointed out that new customers can register digitally without the need to visit the bank, as long as they download the APP and follow the tutorials that were uploaded on the official website of this entity.

“Our executives have already communicated with all the clients who migrated to our bank and this list was also published in the newspaper EL DEBER this Sunday. Savers can withdraw all their money or transfer without restrictions and those who have bank credit will be assisted by our executives to create a new payment plan for them, ”he added.
