Baby found in a pasture in Chiriquí is in a temporary home

The three-day-old baby who was found in a pasture in the community of Enplanada de Chorcha, in the district of David, province of Chiriquí, was placed in a temporary home by the National Secretariat for Children, Adolescents and Family (Senniaf ) in conjunction with the Judicial Branch.
According to the Senniaf, with this Foster Family figure, the minor will be able to have her first days of care in a safe and affectionate place; while the Public Ministry continues with the investigations into the abandonment of this infant.
The discovery of the girl occurred on April 30, after a call from the community to the authorities.
Through a statement, Senniaf asked the population to remain vigilant in situations that put the integrity of children and adolescents at risk and invited them to continue reporting through the National Police, the Public Ministry or the seed complaint line 6378-3466. .

They also called on those people in society who are not yet part of the host family program to become suitable host families by knowing the requirements through 504 3984 or by visiting the entity’s website www.senniaf.gob. pa
