However, hours later, a woman named Rebecca Howe declared to the local outlet Adelaide Now that she was hit by the singer’s microphone and showed a photograph in which she is seen bruises on both eyes and a cut on the nose.
“He took a bow and then he threw the microphone into the audience… and all of a sudden it hit me right in the nose,” Howe explained, noting that “I wasn’t even in the front row.” The fan said an off-duty police officer helped her get away from the crowd and seek medical attention.
“What if it had been a couple of centimeters to the right or left? I could have lost an eye… What if it hit me in the mouth and broke my teeth. If I had been looking back and hit my head, it could have killed me.”the woman declared.
