A day after firing coach Eduardo Barroca, Avaí announced, this Tuesday (13), the hiring of Lisca, who has just left Santos.

The coach arrives at Leão da Ilha in a complicated situation in the Brazilian Championship of Serie A, occupying the 18th position of the classification with 25 points, after the 1-1 draw with Athletico-PR in the last round in the hangover.
For Santos, Lisca played eight games: two wins, three draws and three defeats, the last one against Ceará, 2-1, at Arena Castelão, in Fortaleza. With the result, the Vila Belmiro team remained in 10th place in the table with 34 points.
According to a note from Avaí, the coach will be officially presented next Wednesday (14), from 11 am (Brasília time), at Ressacada.
