As part of the virus mitigation and prevention actions in the West Panama Region, sector authorities held a meeting to coordinate as a work team the surveillance and inspection of each of the commercial premises during national days.

The Governor of the province, Sindy Smith, the mayor of the district of La Chorrera, Tomas Velázquez, Kevin Cedeño, regional director of Health and his work team, as well as the Joint Task Force (JTF) participated.

For next Monday there will be a next meeting to establish the norms and enforce the decrees and resolutions that merit, with the purpose of making it manifest precisely because of the biosafety issue.
