The São Paulo team went to four points and distanced itself from the last positions of the table, taking the eighth place, provisionally. Galo de Campina, who still haven’t won after two games in the competition, appears in 17th position, in the relegation zone, and could end the weekend in second to last place. The northeastern club have one less match, as the duel with Novorizontino, for the first round, was postponed due to the Alagoan Championship finals.
Pontepretana’s winning goal came in the 23rd minute of the first half. The lateral Norberto crossed low on the right and the striker Lucca, in the area, completed for the nets. The best opportunity of the regatta came shortly before, at 19, in a header by forward Fabinho, who stopped on the right post.
The two teams will play again this Wednesday (27). CRB welcomes Náutico at 7pm (Brasília time), at the Rei Pelé stadium, in Maceió. Later, at 9:30 pm, Ponte Preta visits Vasco in São Januário, Rio de Janeiro. The duels refer to the fourth round of Serie B.
