She defended investments in the industrial sector to generate jobs, as well as a tax reform. In Simone Tebet’s assessment, the measure will bring legal certainty and stability. “We are ready to carry out, in the first six months of government, the tax reform that will reduce bureaucracy, that will simplify, that will remove tax from legal entities, that will increase the productivity and competitiveness of the business sector. With that, he [setor empresarial] it opens more doors, hires more people, and we guarantee the direct and indirect jobs that people are lacking today”, he defended.

When it comes to labor reform, the candidate has another opinion. “We don’t need a new labor reform, we need to advance in the gaps that were left behind. For example, in the last five years, since the reform, the issue of uberization has advanced and the almost 5 million workers who live on apps and who have no security, not even social security in the future, much less a guarantee mattress for a moment. when he has a need, an accident, he is unemployed for one, two, three months and he does not have unemployment insurance”, he highlighted, adding that these points need to be improved.

Recalling that Brazil has at least 20% of workers who are underutilized, Simone promised investments in professional training to fully insert this population into the labor market, so that it can be fully employed and earn better wages and have better income.

On how to reduce inequalities in the country, she said that it is necessary to “stop drying ice” and guarantee permanent income transfers to those who need it most. The candidate said that if she wins the presidential race, Auxílio-Brasil “will remain subject to conditions”. In addition, she defended vaccine in the arm and children in school, to protect economically vulnerable families.

This afternoon Simone Tebet takes a walk through the central region of Santo André and pays a visit to the Social Solidarity Fund in the city.
