Actress Lúcia Alves, 76, died on Thursday (24) in Rio de Janeiro, a victim of complications of pancreatic cancer. She was hospitalized at the São José Health House, in Humaitá, South Zone of Rio, since the 14th of this month, after showing a worse in the health condition. The actress had been fighting the disease for three years.
The venue of the funeral and the funeral time have not yet been released by the family.
Biography
Lúcia Alves began her artistic career in the cinema in 1965, with the film A branch for Luíza.
The television debut was on the extinct TV Tupi in 1969 with the soap opera While there are stars. A year later, it debuted on TV Globo, where it participated in the soap opera BROTHERS COURAGEwritten by Janete Clair, when playing the Potira India, one of the most remembered roles of his career.
