Energía Argentina (Enarsa) signed the ninth addendum to the natural gas purchase and sale contract with YPFB to cover demand in the North of that country for the months of August and September of this year.

In the present, YPFB sends an average of 4.9 million cubic meters per day (MMm3/d) of natural gas to supply the North of Argentina, according to data from the Supervision, Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) of the state oil company.

It adds that it is planned to transport 5 MMm3/d of natural gas in addition to the current ones and in a second stage another 4 MMm3/d will be incorporated from Vaca Muerta.

The works of the reversal of the Northern Gasduct progresses gradually and recently the welding of pipes was completed in 100 kilometers of a total of 122 kilometers that extends from Tío Pujio to La Carlota, in the province of Córdoba.

The remaining 22 kilometers and the change of direction of 4 compression plants are expected to be completed at the end of August.
