Heavy-duty truck drivers have lifted their strike and cleared the road at kilometer 48 until July 18. There is already a normal pass through the area, the Panamericana Sur is free and traffic is normal.
As is known, more than 100 heavy trucks came to the area to park on the side of the road, reducing the space for the transit of small vehicles.

According to Fernando Fuentes Peralta, Vice President of the National Union of Transporters of PeruThey want instructions from the fighting base located in the city of Lima.

The leader affirmed that the main request is to lower the price of fuel, tolls, international transport with Bolivia and Ecuador, the tickets, cargo reservation, among other points that must be addressed by the Government.
