Today the placement ceremony of the one hundred and fifteenth QR Code and the eighty-second UNESCO Blue Shield was held at the Colegio Padre Damián de los Sagrados Corazones, located at Calle San Juan de Dios 536-538, by the Management of the Historic Center .
This institution has the status of a monument of religious architecture type under the Headquarters Resolution 348-91-INC/J from March 8, 1991, officially published ten days later.

The ceremony was attended by the manager of the Historical Center and Monumental Zone, Cesar Berrios; the president of the Peruvian Committee of the International Council of Museums ICOM Peru and in charge of the UNESCO Blue Shield, Eduardo Ugarte; Sister Graciela Simón of the Sacred Hearts; the representative of the Decentralized Directorate of the Ministry of Culture, Mario Torres; among others.

The reference story of so emblematic institution was in charge of the engineer Natali Salas Astorga, former student of the educational center; and the program of Public Readings and History Memory of Arequipa, was directed by Dr. Rommel Arce, director of the Municipal Public Library.
