“They would have to iron out the rough edges, joint actions would have to be takenlisten to the people, since it is not only this deputy who expresses himself in that sense (…), it is not a request from deputy Arispe, it is a request from the political instrument,” said the legislator at a press conference.
On Thursday, October 6, the national leadership of the MAS met with the six coca growers’ federations and approved 14 resolutions and one of them sent for an urgent meeting with the leaders. Arispe said that one of the points will be to consider the request of the coca growers of the Chapare regarding the dismissal of the Ministers of Government, Eduardo Del Castillo, and of Justice, Iván Lima.
“Invite from the National Directorate of the MAS-IPSP and the Pact of Unity with urgency and emergency to meeting with the president and vice president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia as soon as possible, to deal with internal issues and carry out a joint political reading to confront the right wing”, stated the tenth MAS resolution.
Arispe recalled that three months ago there was a similar meeting and on that occasion it was decided that there would be this type of meeting every three months. On July 18, the two leaders went to the Cochabamba tropics to meet with Evo Morales, on that occasion they were accompanied by the Minister of the Presidency, María Nela Prada, and the Minister of Defense, Edmundo Novillo, in addition to the Attorney General, who is loyal to Evo Morales. , he was accompanied by the vice president of the MAS, Gerardo García, the legislators of Cochabamba, Andrónico Rodríguez, Leonardo Loza and Gualberto Arispe.
Likewise, the main leaders of the Unity Pact attended and the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Freddy Mamani.
“Three months ago there was a meeting and there was a period of 3 months at that time that was agreed to meet some situations, to make some arrangementsthen an evaluation will be made in this meeting, I am sure that the national context will not be wasted”, said Arispe.
