Applications for the Volunteer Incentive Award are now open.

The 2022 National Volunteer Incentive Award is open for applications until August 7th. According to the Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights, the initiative aims to recognize and reward the actions of citizens and entities responsible for engaging in voluntary work in humanitarian aid, social transformation of regions and vulnerable groups in the last twelve years. months.Applications for the Volunteer Incentive Award are now open.

The award is divided into four categories: volunteering in Civil Society Organizations; volunteering in the Public Sector; corporate volunteering; and voluntary individuals (individuals). 20 works will be symbolically awarded, one per category in each region of the country. According to the ministry, public and private organizations and individuals who directly develop volunteer activities can compete for the award, including non-profit private entities and religious organizations dedicated to activities or projects of public interest and of a social nature, in addition to public bodies or entities.

The evaluation criteria are, among others, incentive to volunteering; transformative impact on the public benefited by the volunteering initiative and quantitative public benefited directly from the initiative during the last twelve months; contribution of the initiative to the public benefited according to the thematic axes of the National Volunteering Incentive Program; sustainability of the initiative; and social innovation.
