The Court of Appeals handed down a sentence of almost three years in prison for a man who, while working as a teacher, sexually abused a 15-year-old teenager.

RJMB, who was also an official of the Judiciary, was found guilty as a criminally responsible perpetrator of a crime of especially aggravated sexual abuse. The sentence that he must serve will be two years and eight months in prison.

He also lost parental authority and will no longer be able to work in public and private functions where he could have contact with children and adolescents, the disabled or the elderly in a situation of dependency.

In the first instance, the prosecutor MercedesStella Alciaturi asked for four years in prison for the teacher, but they acquitted him.

The abuse

According to the reconstruction of the events carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office, the victim was walking down a street in Mercedes towards a friend’s house. At a certain point, the condemned man intercepts him and offers to take him, to which he agrees since he knew him as a teacher.

On the way, the sexual aggressor takes a detour to his house, telling him that he should go there. Once at home, he asks her to go up to the second floor, where he had items related to his work.

Once there, the teacher put a chair to block the door and that’s when he sexually abused the teenager.

The victim left the site to her friend and told her what had happened. Later, the mother of another friend found out about the events and accompanied him to tell her sister, who she finally denounced.
