Santo Domingo, DR- The Popular Association of Savings and Loans (APAP) received, for the third consecutive year, the PCI-DSS certification (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) issued by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council.
This certification is endorsed by the main payment brands, who, together with the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, issued the report that certifies APAP’s compliance with security and data protection parameters, positioning APAP as a responsible and reliable company in compliance with the security and data protection parameters of cardholders.
“The PCI-DSS certification reaffirms APAP’s level of strength with regulatory compliance on data protection controls,” said Huáscar Pérez Sarraff, 2nd Vice President of Comprehensive Protection at APAP.
