Antonio Sanguino took office as the new chief of staff in the Mayor's Office of Bogotá

This Thursday, July 21, former congressman Antonio Sanguino took office in his new position as chief of staff of the Mayor’s Office of Bogotáafter two months ago Luis Ernesto Gómez resigned from office to join the presidential campaign of the now elected Gustavo Petro.

Antonio Sanguino is a sociologist, Master in Administration and Regional Development Planning from the University of the Andes. he is also Doctor of Government and Public Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid, (Spain). He has been a university professor, social researcher, essayist and opinion columnist.

the mayor claudia lopez, highlighted the trajectory of the new chief of staff and the affinity he has with him to exercise this position.

“We have always been united by the same vocation: that of public service, to serve citizens, to represent their causes, their dreams, their illusions, to work from the public to provide better opportunities to the citizens of Bogotá and Colombia,” said the official.

He added that “Antonio is not only an extraordinary citizen, a public servant with a great career, a great professional with academic training, but also has been a councilor of Bogotá and knows the city like the back of your hand.”

For his part, the newly appointed chief of staff, Antonio Sanguino thanked for this opportunity and reiterated his commitment to work for the city And its inhabitants.

In the next year and a half that Claudia López’s administration has left, Sanguino will have the function of exercising sector coordination and spokesperson Mayor’s Office official.
