Supreme Judge Juan Carlos Checkley ordered an appearance with restrictions and rules of conduct against former Prime Minister Aníbal Torres, who together with former President Pedro Castillo are being investigated for the alleged crime of rebellion and conspiracy.

After learning of the disposition of the Judiciary, Torres Vásquez’s defense announced that he will appeal the decision.
